Robotics
Students are introduced to terminology electronic circuitry, and
programming of industrial robots.
During this module students study the role of the robot in industry,through software,
text, and video. Terminology is learned by vocabulary definition and written response to
questions. Students experience robotic programming with the Scorbot robot arm and robot
controller software. Challenge exercises have the students use electronic circuitry inputs
to control the robot's program. The robot in turn, turns on electronic circuitry outputs
simulating the role of the robot in an industrial factory.
