Desktop Publishing

Students are introduced to the desktop publishing industry and experience publishing through Pagemaker software.

A ten day course of study with video, written response to questions, and experiments in Pagemaker lead the students into the challenge section. As a challenge exercise, the students operate a color scanner and place a color graphic within an original document in Pagemaker. Final projects are printed in color.

Resources include: Power Mac 6100, Color Scanner, Color Printer, Pagemaker and Ofoto software
