CAD

Students are introduced to the computer aided design industry through a series of tutorials and one 3D-view mechanical drawing.

Students learn step by step the process of CAD in Auto CAD Lt. by following a tutorial. Reading and written responses to questions on 3-view mechanical drawings introduce students to actual drafting practices. Students then use Auto CAD Lt's. 3d-view to help realize the 3-dimensional part to 2-dimensional drawing process.
