We are the Ballet Folklórico
club of Rancho Buena Vista High School, which is a club dedicated to
performing traditional Mexican dance at various schools and events and in
turn, promoting the beauty and elegance of the Mexican culture. The Ballet Folklórico club helps bridge cultural boundaries by presenting the Mexican culture at its finest. The club promotes cultural diversity in its membership and by performing in multicultural events. We also plan to spend time every year educating students in the primary and middle schools about the diversity of the Mexican culture by performing dances from various regions of Mexico. On this page you will find photos of various past performances and ways to contact us, along with some interesting links. We are available to dance at your activity or
event! We love to dance and would love to perform for your group, activity or event. We do not charge any money, but since we are not funded by the school, we would gladly accept any donation if possible. If you cannot make a donation, we would still love to dance. If you would like to help support this worthwhile project with a tax deductible donation of any amount, please contact us. Who Can Join Any student from Rancho Buena Vista High School can join the Ballet Folklorico club. There is no fee, but we do ask for small donations to help pay for minor expenses. Each member needs to purchase their own shoes/boots and other inexpensive personal items. The members are able to participate in various fundraising activities to pay for their expenses. Costumes for the performances are provided by the club. More specific information is available by contacting us.
