We are the Ballet Folklórico club of Rancho Buena Vista High School, which  is a club dedicated to performing traditional Mexican dance at various schools and events and in turn, promoting the beauty and elegance of the Mexican culture.

(Oceanside Days of Art, 04/19/2009)

The club is open to any student from Rancho Buena Vista High School. You do not have to be Mexican or speak Spanish to join. Our practices are usually from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in the Dance Room (513). The club performs in public about once a month, with many performances in the spring. If you would like more information, talk to Mr. McEwen in room 815 (or go to the contacts below).

On this page you will find photos of various past performances and ways to contact us, along with some interesting links. Come back to this web site later to see our section on Mexican Folklorico information and history.

We would like to thank el maestro Luis Oceguera for helping our group learn more dances from states throughout Mexico!!
