Computer Animation 1 This course introduces computer animation authoring with an emphasis on multimedia HTML web design. Multimedia designers can create a blend of text, pictures, music, and graphics. Students will use Macromedia FLASH to create animated movies, multimedia web sites, E-greeting cards, and cartoons for publishing on the Internet and on CD-ROM. Instruction emphasizes the creative and technical process of working from the initial concept to the final commercial product including; story boarding, editing MP3 music files, creating original graphics, and page layout for the Internet. BACA offers both a beginning and an ntermediate and advanced course for students wishing to develop software skills and general office skills. Students enrolled in either course receive instruction in job acquisition and retention skills (including resumes, online job searches, interview skills, etc.).

Sports Medicine
This course provides entry-level instruction in sports medicine and athletic training. It is designed for high school students, 16 years and older. Employment possibilities include athletic trainer assistant, sports medicine aide, physical therapy aide, etc. Instruction covers the following areas: anatomy, physiology of muscle groups and skeletal system, vital signs, CPR, and safety factors related to sports medicine.
