Principal's Message

Rancho Buena Vista (RBV) High School is transitioning to use this web site to provide all families the information necessary to register students for the upcoming 2011/2012 school year.  This web site is designed to provide families all the documents required to read and all the forms required to print, complete, and bring to RBV on the assigned registration days. 

Families should be reminded that it is necessary for continuing students to attend the registration days at RBV.  This web site is a source for documents and forms, but students must be present at RBV during their assigned August registration days.  The information contained in this site will help make registration a smooth process and get the year off to a great start.

What will happen during the August registration days at RBV?
Class schedules will be available on the registration dates.  Students will receive their printed locator cards (assigned classes with instructors) on their assigned registration day (August 8-12).  We encourage students to make every effort to complete registration on their assigned day.  All requests for schedule change must be made prior to the start of school year, August17th.

What will happen if my child misses all registration days?
Our goal is to process all scheduling, fee collections, textbook checkout, photos, and ID pictures prior to the start of the new school year.  Instructional time is so valuable that we cannot afford to lose a minute.  Classroom instruction will begin the first day of school, August 17, 2011, at 7:30 AM with period 1.  Students who missed registration can come to the PAC at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17th to pick up their class schedule, turn in all forms and receive an ID.  Students registering late can pay fees and checkout textbooks after school on August 17th. 

What should I do if I cannot access the information or I cannot print the required forms?
If families have any questions, or if they wish to pick up hard copies of all the documents on this site, families may stop by the main office at RBV between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until the end of the month of June and starting August 1, 2011.  The RBV offices will be closed during the month of July.

¿Como uso este recurso?
La preparatoria Rancho Buena Vista esta en la transición del uso de este sitio de Internet para proveer a todas las familias la información necesaria para el registro de estudiantes para el año escolar 2011-2012.  Las familias no recibirán el paquete de inscripción en casa.  Puede que su familia eligió venir a la escuela a recoger el paquete en ves de usar el sitio de Internet de la escuela para registrar a su estudiante.  Los documentos dentro del paquete contienen la misma información que los documentos en el sitio de Internet y se deben de imprimir, llenar, y traer a la escuela durante las fechas de inscripción.   

Aunque tengan todos los documentos necesarios para la inscripción de su estudiante en sus manos por parte de este paquete, es importante que recuerden que aun es obligatorio asistir al día de registro designado para su alumno en Agosto.  Este proceso es anual, aunque ya estén registrados en el distrito escolar de Vista sus estudiantes.

¿Que pasara durante los días de registro?
Se repartirán los horarios de clase de sus estudiantes.  Sabrán los estudiantes quienes serán sus maestros y en cual salón.  Si quieren pedir cambio de clase o horario, deben hacer esto los estudiantes ante de la fecha limite, 17 de Agosto.

¿Que pasa si mi estudiante falta a su día de inscripción?
Nuestra meta es de procesar toda la programación para el nuevo año, incluyendo: reparto de libros, colección de cuotas, fotos, y tarjetas de identificación.  El primer día de clase será el 17 de Agosto, 2011 a las 7:30 AM.  Si su hijo falto durante la semana de inscripción, puede llegar temprano a la escuela este día (17 de Agosto) entre 6:30 AM y 7:30 AM, y aun cumplir con su registro.  El teatro de la escuela será el poste designado para alumnos que aun no están inscritos en nuestra escuela.

¿Que puedo hacer si no tengo acceso a las formas en este sitio por computadora, o no las puedo imprimir?
Pueden venir a la escuela entre las 7:30 AM y 3:30 PM durante todo el mes de Junio a recoger el paquete de inscripción si no es posible imprimirlo en casa.  También pueden venir empezando el 1 de Agosto, 2011.  Las oficinas estarán cerradas durante el mes de Julio.

¡Estoy muy emocionada de ver a todos los estudiantes para el nuevo año, 2011/12!
